Did the meteor burn up in the atmosphere? They say that 5% of meteors are made of iron, and, when so, denser, able to penetrate the atmosphere in pieces. Literally, money falling from the sky.

We didn't build up this city; it fell down. Not in scattered pieces of rock, but gleaming bullets that smashed into the earth where they neatly sit today. We built roads around them, and still wonder where they came from. I wonder more at the spinning doors by which to gain entry into the lobbies. How they spin!

My brother has just handed me a letter from my alma mater, “Neuman the future belongs to those who dare”, sub-titled, “Postgraduate studies at Monash”. I turn over the page.

Dear Neuman

You've always aimed high. That's why you first studied with Monash.

I'm already entertained.

Your success has only encouraged you to aim higher and Monash is behind you all the way.

Oh, they've personalized a webpage for me.

After all that fuss, I reached the end of the brochure only to find that the information session is scheduled for today from 3–8pm! They really should've preferred email over post to tell me this :-/

Is postgraduate study something I should be thinking about? I doubt if they have a curriculum suited to my diverse interests: reading, eating and always being drunk.

No, the world, it calls me away. But, seriously, Australia, how can I forget thee?

Anyway, back to work for me. If you are interested:

I'm pretty sure that describes an art degree perfectly. In fact, it describes any degree if you skip the first point.
