Saigon bleeds traffic

Saigon bleeds traffic. And, I am reminded of how blood flows through the body. Ear to the ground in the city centre. Can one hear the heart as it beats?

Saigon traffic

Yesterday, walking through the park, everyone keeps off the grass. I stole some footsteps across the green as school children watched sitting on a bench.

Kay is still in Ben Thanh market. She is the only person I know here, but I forgot her name. She forgot my face. The world around her has stopped and frozen but she has aged. Some part of her has broken free and is traveling the world. She tells me that next month she will be in Singapore. At the same time, I will be in Japan. We will reach our destinations through the electric current.

Phu My Hung is an empty city. No tombs are buried here, it is literally soulless. Khanh said that they bury tombs in a rice field to ensure the family will own the plot forever. If the tombs aren't sealed properly, the spirits seep through into the water where they are drawn into the earth.

Later today, I will be on a plane to Hanoi.

It's the electric current

It's the electric current that separates and joins us.
